About AIGA in Upstate New York

The Upstate New York chapter may be one of the most geographically diverse AIGA chapters in the nation, with over 200 professional, associate, educator, and student members scattered over 300 miles from Albany to Buffalo in the north and Binghamton to Jamestown in the south. This geographic diversity brings breadth to the representation of our Board of Directors which comprises seasoned design entrepreneurs, professionals situated within some of the most renown corporations in America, and educators from notable institutions for design pedagogy. We are committed to promoting excellence in design within the regional corporate, academic, and social matrix of Upstate New York. Our overall goal for the chapter is two-fold in that we aim to both nurture the professional development of our existing members and attract new members. Through its programming of annual events and monthly social get-togethers, the AIGA Upstate New York Chapter is taking a leadership role in shaping and nurturing our profession.
